These are fascinating stackable bowls in colored Caltagirone ceramic entirely handmade which take their name from Etna, a majestic Sicilian volcano. “I could not fail to pay homage to such a powerful physical element as much loved as hated by the people who live along its slopes…” says the designer Andrea Branciforti.
Designed in Sicily for Improntabarre in 2005. Its composition with five serving dishes and the bowl at its top as a container, make it easy to handle, not bulky, but above all a casket that opens dish after dish to reveal its contents.
