Named after the designer who designed it in 1994, the Czech armchair is a work of art that bears the signature of Hermann Czech for Wiener GTV Design and captivates at first glance for its current design, but for a charm that seems to belong to a bygone era. Indeed, it is precisely this retro-chic style that makes it so special: simple yet elegant, with clean lines and refined details in which the steam-bent beech shell is a return to the origins of the chair in 17th century Bohemia, demonstrating the timelessness of the Thonet style in an intimate relationship with memory.
