Duomo is the cuckoo clock designed in 2012 by Luca Trazzi Diamantini & Domeniconi. Presented at Milan Design Week 2014, this particular clock portrays the stylized shape of Milan Cathedral, the most important symbol of the metropolitan city, the capital of fashion and design. A high design object is what the cuckoo represents, produced by one of the few remaining companies that rigorously carries out the entire production process entirely in Italy with pride. The result of this creative work is a beautiful object to look at but also, and above all, of the highest quality that pays homage not only to the famous monument but also to the classic cuckoo system. The case of the Duomo cuckoo clock is made of lacquered MDF wood while the hands are in steel. On the front in the center, as if to mention the central window of the cathedral, a small window houses the little bird that at the stroke of every hour will sing its "cuckoo" many times until the exact time. With the light control sensor the bird will not come out when the lights are off, you can sleep peacefully! Duomo is perfect in any environment and can be hung or placed on top. On the initiative of Luca Trazzi himself, the production and subsequent sale of the Duomo cuckoo clock contributed to the fundraising project "Adopt a Spire", with the aim of improving the image of the well-known monument in Milan on the occasion of Expo 2015. A masterpiece of Made in Italy design to be proudly displayed in every room of your home. Order the Duomo cuckoo clock here on Newpop.
