Danese Milano Otto L'oca serigraphy
Four-color "Otto, L'Oca" screen printing printed on 200g sq m dropjet paper belonging to the nature series. Proposed in an edition of the year 2000, the screen printing L'Oca wants to represent the archetypal nature of this delicate and innocent animal, to eliminate the details and particularities, to concentrate on the meaning and on the "pure" message that he wants to convey. Very realistic and elegant, this silkscreen is printed on dropjet paper closed on the horizontal sides by two plastic profiles that allows it to be hung in a study, bedroom or living room: it will always be the protagonist! Designed by Enzo Mari in 2000 for Danese Milano.
The numbered screen prinitngs of the Nature Series, designed by Enzo Mari and produced by Danese, propose to represent subjects of nature respecting the innate idea that one has by evoking them. The serigraph number eight is the goose, designed in 1967 and revived in a new version in 2000. The animal is voluntarily reproduced in its original form, like a model, eliminating the superfluous and enhancing only its significant qualities. Enzo Mari's choice of eliminating the superfluous in favor of meaning is to be found in the author's intention of wanting to identify the observer as much as possible with the work, in order to create an emotional connection and representative. The result is an elementary but at the same time realistic image of the goose, with a full shape and bright, bright colors that stand out against a white background. The subject thus becomes an icon, a fascinating goose that shows her profile. Choose the Oca and discover the other fantastic works by Enzo Mari for Danese Milano here, on Newpop.it!
