The limited edition Black Belt collection is the fruit of the inspiration of the American architect Peter Marino combined with the glass processing techniques of the Italian brand Venini. In this luxurious collection, we find a series of vases of different sizes and shapes, characterized by an elegant and formal design. For the realization of Black Belt, Peter Marino has chosen to use the sophisticated band technique, working rigorously and with cutting the submerged blown glass: a pattern of coloured threads, technically called “Fasce”, is hot cast on a transparent central body. After having mixed them together with precision, everything is covered with a very thin layer of crystal, thus obtaining a chromatic design of great elegance and preciousness. The result is real works of art, almost transparent structures with a splendid black belt that completes the design.
