Caccia 6 table knives are part of the homonymous collection designed for Alessi by illustrious Italian designers. The Caccia cutlery model, which takes its name from one of its designers, was created for the first time in 1938 as a joint project of a collective of authoritative Italian designers: Livio, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Luigi Caccia Dominioni. All three architects collaborated for many years on a long series of projects, interior design, exhibition installations, furniture and industrial products. These cutleries were presented at the Milan Triennale in 1940 and were described by the Italian colleague and critic Gio Ponti in an article in the magazine Domus as "the most beautiful cutlery in existence". Ponti's opinion was widely shared, and such was the success of the design that the cutlery is still in production and used by many Italian families. At the time of its first marketing, Caccia cutlery was only available in pure silver, and then over the years Alessi decided to inherit the stainless steel version: Luigi Caccia Dominioni himself completed the set using the original drawings from the 1930s. Then? Are you ready to bring a real milestone to the table? Caccia cutlery is the one for you!
