UT108 lemon squeezer designed by the duo Prey-Gozzi reflects the focus of Alessi, apart from metalworking, to the woodworking. So as not to lose this precious link with tradition, in 1988 Alessi acquired the oldest original company in the valley, Battista Piazza 1865, producing number of historic objects from the early 20th century have been reissued. This is the history of UT108, a simple object because of the easiness but because of traditional production method in the area.
