Borek Sipek was an internationally renowned artist, design professor and post-modernist visionary. Sipek was able to bend and shape materials to his liking, creating unusual patterns that became works of art. A prime example of Sipek's flair is Liba, a chair designed for the Driade brand. Lipa is a chair upholstered in rattan. Seat and back are made of natural cane, red cane and black cane with front legs in solid black ebony. The chair is made for indoor use and is a real eye-catcher. It is able to fit into multiple furniture contexts and is perfect for those who prefer natural materials and classic, neo-colonial style.
