In search of a new composition for an unpadded seating element, the designer Patricia Urquiola develops a three-dimensional geometry, generated starting from the cellular genesis of petals sewn following the order of a graphic structure with a triangular base. The result is a colorful floral explosion, a clear manifestation of fertility. The Antibodi collection includes armchairs, small armchairs and chaise longues; seats characterized by vital energy, an archetype of great and ambivalent charm. The petals, built by assembling felt and cloth, give life to an exclusive and load-bearing coating, subsequently fixed to the sturdy stainless steel frame. The covering thus assumes a double function, welcoming, thanks to the petals facing upwards, severe, with the petals facing downwards. And you?
