Boalum translucent flexible PVC table lamp with resin terminals, 6 cm. Unusual in its concept, Boalum is a table lamp with diffused light designed to illuminate and furnish modern and design living spaces. By joining up to a maximum of four elements together, it can be extended in length, creating surprising combinations: you can also use it as a floor or ceiling lamp. Exhibited at the Design Museum in Milan, the lamp is equipped with a highly efficient 2700K white LED light (20W). Luminous flux 780lm. Designed by Gianfranco Frattini and Livio Castiglioni for Artemide.
Unpredictable and unconventional, the snake-shaped Boalum lamp is a lighting showpiece. The result of the collaboration between Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini, this unusual project quickly became an icon of Italian design, appreciated all over the world precisely for its perfect synthesis of modernity, technical and aesthetic savoir faire. In the early 1990s it was made more efficient with the introduction of LED bulbs.
