The surface of the plates is decorated with abstract floral and geometric patterns, which follow a circular path around the flat and fruit plates. The bottoms, on the other hand, are in one color, in three color variations. The purely warm shades of orange red are dedicated to the desert and the aqua blue is instead the one often present in the enchanting mosaics that cover the naves of ancient Persian buildings.
