JM17 round basket is part of the family of table and kitchen accessories created by Jasper Morrison for the Alessi brand. In this line we find various elements that are distinguished by the extreme essentiality of the design, with the only detail concerning the embossed decorations, a feature that manages to give elegance to the objects, but which is not invasive. This decoration reinterprets, from an industrial point of view, an ancient and refined goldsmith technique, the Etruscan granulation. Obtained thanks to a cold stamping process of brass, the rich interaction with light creates a sort of luminous skin, capable of enhancing complex shapes, in addition to pure and neutral lines.
