The Fazzoletto Opalini collection of vases is one of the most historic and significant of the Venini brand. In this elegant collection, we find vases of different sizes and colours, united by a single characteristic: the shape inspired by skirts moved by the wind. All the pieces of the Fazzoletto Opalini collection are made of opal blown glass with the "flying hand" technique: this expression indicates the agile and expert movement of the artist's hand in the hot working of a precious glass. The Fazzoletto Opalini vases are a reworking of the Opalini technique of the fifteenth century, in which the colours are renewed but the same manufacturing techniques are maintained.
