Opalino collection born in 1932 form and idea of Paolo Venini, one of the leading figures in the processing of Murano glass and in the contribution made to the design of the twentieth century. In this collection, we find vases of different sizes and colours united by a very evident project line: the exclusive processing of the milk glass combined with the extraordinary refinement of the colours. Opalino can be conceived as a journey through time that connects the fifteenth century to the neoclassicism of the twentieth century: each piece in the collection is current despite having been created with remote processing techniques. It is the discovery of a new order of refined design despite the essentiality that prevails in every work.
